Naka-Kon Contests

AMV Contest

Put music to anime and show everyone how it is really done. Let mediums combine together to move audiences to laughter and/or tears. The AMV contest is back!

  • Videos must contain at least 75 percent non-repeating anime or Japanese video game footage. (This includes games like Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts.)
  • Videos may include creator identification at the beginning or end of the video. Intro headers or ending credits may be no longer than 10 seconds in length.
  • Videos must be kept at a PG-13 rating in both music and clips. If you are unsure if your video will meet this requirement, feel free to ask us to preview it and we will let you know if you are within bounds.
  • Judges reserve the right to disqualify a video they feel it is in violation of the rules.
  • Entrants may submit more than one video for viewing at the AMV contest. However, only one video will be eligible for judging. Entrants must choose which video they wish to have judged.
