The Overland Park Convention Center is where you’ll find many of the convention’s biggest attractions — our vendor room, the ballroom, and the game rooms, as well as registration and cosplay contest registration.
On the convention center’s lower level are the Courtyard rooms, home to our game rooms (featuring tabletop gaming, video gaming, and tournaments). Head up the escalator and you’ll find the exhibit halls (vendor room and registration), as well as Ballroom A-B (cosplay competition, concerts, dance party) and Ballroom C (panels, cosplay contest green room).
Inside the vendor room you’ll find both dealers and artists, a concession stand and the otaku lounge, where you can sit and relax for a moment while you eat your meal. The OPCC also has a cyber café where you can grab a snack and a quick charge for your phone or tablet, and food carts serving up tasty treats, plus plenty of open spaces and nooks where you can find somewhere to sit.
The convention center connects to the Sheraton Hotel via a hallway on the lower level and a covered outdoor walkway on the upper level. You can access the courtyard from the lower levels of both the OPCC and Sheraton Hotel.
Getting to the Overland Park Convention Center is easy! The convention center sits on College Boulevard between Metcalf Ave. and Nall Ave., just a couple blocks south of I-435. A free parking lot is located behind the convention center, accessible through the roundabout on Lamar Avenue. The entrance facing the parking lot also has a covered overhang for drop-offs. There is also a circle drive at the front of the convention center for dropoffs, accessible from College Boulevard.
