A lot has happened since the cancelation of the 2020 convention and the postponement of the 2021 convention. Our staff has worked very hard to communicate and accommodate attendees. This message will be a bit long, but you should read it through since there is information that discusses the status of the various options given to 2020 registrants.
We would like to thank everyone who took the time to submit their requests on that form!
We offered full refunds for those who requested them by the August 1, 2021 deadline, and many took advantage of that option. The deadline for full refunds has now passed.
For those who rolled over membership to Naka-Kon 2021, we have fallen behind in processing the partial refund request. We hope to have those all processed by mid-September.
If you purchased a membership for the 2020 convention and did not express another preference by the August 1, 2021 deadline, your membership will be automatically rolled over to the 2022 Convention.
EVENTBRITE CONFIRMATION MESSAGES
Those attending the 2021 convention, be sure to bring a copy of the Eventbrite Confirmation email sent to you after you registered for the 2021 convention. You can bring this document as a printed copy on your smartphone or other devices.
You will be required to show your confirmation message at the door before you can enter the convention area.
You will also be required to show the confirmation at the registration desk when collecting your convention badge.
PICKING UP YOUR BADGES
Registration will be located in Exhibit Hall A of the Overland Park Convention Center. For registration hours, please visit https://naka-kon.com/registration/registration-hours.
Each individual must pick up their own badge.
Also, be prepared to show ID if asked. This can be a driver’s license, state-issued identification card, or other official identification.
If you have purchased multiple badges and put your own name and contact information on more than one badge, only one of those badges will be valid. It is required that the name and contact information of the person who will wear the badge be provided. If you have entered your contact information on more than one record, contact email@example.com so we can help you fix this.
