ReKon 2018: Silver Spoon Day at Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead
ReKon is almost upon us! Expect the same great grill and gathering that gets you out into the Kansas weather, but in a fabulous new location, Deanna Rose Children’s Farmstead, Sunday, September 16 from 11 a.m.– 5 p.m., located at 13800 Switzer, Overland Park, Kan. The Deanna Rose Farmstead is a petting zoo with loads of adorable farm animals, native Kansas animals, and activities for all ages.
An entry fee of $7 gets you access to the farmstead and the ReKon buffet- a variety of picnic foods and beverages. We’ll also have 2019 Convention memberships and Naka-Kon merch for sale! Please RSVP so we can better estimate our resource needs.
Naka-Kon will be at the Pavillion from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and the farmstead closes at 5 p.m. Come and go as you please.
And make sure your smart device is charged! The farmstead is a great place to play Pokemon Go. Cosplay is welcome, but not required. Just remember that goats are curious and are known to nom nom on anything that looks tasty.
Available activities (purchased separately) at Deanna Rose include:

- Feeding baby goats milk bottles ($1 per bottle)
