For those adult aged Nakama who enjoy a bit of spice at con, Naka-Kon is proud to be bringing back Cos-lesque! Cos-lesque is a cosplay-themed burlesque show showcasing theatrical strip teases, this year featuring dazzling performers from Risqué Revelry! At this event there is no full nudity, but you will see some skin!
Now to introduce Risqué Revelry! Risqué Revelry is a monthly Kansas City Burlesque and variety show that prides itself on producing diverse and equitable monthly shows. The mission of Risqué Revelry is to make a safe place for Burlesque and Variety performers to experiment with their art and feel empowered with what they bring to our humble stage.
First up is Knotty Orchid! With a little giggle in her talk, a lot of jiggle in her walk, and sticky sweet like flan – prepare to be entertained by this languid Latina. She’ll mesmerize you with her hands and hips and prove why she’s the Kanaka (Native Hawaiian) Knock Out. Knotty Orchid prides herself in crafty curation of decadent and delightful acts/shows. Next please welcome Tiana Charming! Tiana is a KC native with a rather naughty side. Her tawdry love affair with the arts has drawn her to burlesque. Tiana's been getting all around the KC area with her "Ass"ets in tow since 2020. She’s been called the “The Sweetheart of Burlesque” or Swinger of Sass, but you Honeys and Hotties can call her oh so Charming.
And now welcome Ülla La! Ülla La is just as oodles of excitement as ever to be performing again! She has been enjoying the art of burlesque since 2015 and has performed throughout the states of Missouri and Kansas and hopes to travel farther and farther both geographically and in burlesque! She is the Sweet Choquette Coquette, a beloved ingenue of KC — Ooh La La it's Ülla La!
Next we have Eva Amora! Bringing to the stage sexy and spooky, is KC's Mexican vixen Eva Amora. Her love affair with Burlesque began in 2023 after volunteering to stage kitten. You can catch her stage kittening and performing nerdy and spooky acts with Risqué Revelry and other local productions. Offstage, Eva is a Morbid Goddess model with spooky photographer Morbid Awakening. She's tiny but fierce, and will enchant you in her spell!
Prepare for Annie-Mae Allure! Annie-Mae Allure, Kansas City’s Animated Burlesque Star, is an award winning and internationally known performer. She is the executive producer of the Rude Revue and the Kansas City Nerdlesque Festival.
Here is Eden Draconis! Eden is equal parts figment of your imagination and healthy dose of reality. This dream of a dragon hatched in 2019 and quickly blazed her own path, becoming a prolific performer and producer in the Midwest. Brace yourself as she ignites inspiration, scorches expectations, and shows you why she's called the Dragon of Paradise.
And last but not least, please welcome Coco Royale! Coco started burlesque with the goal of becoming more in-tune with her curves. After a year, it has transformed into her way to celebrate the beauty in what society deems taboo: fat, queer lineage, and the unstoppable beauty of big Black bodies.
