Stranded in an alternate reality Tomo and her friends need to return to her version of reality and use the power of the three treasures to seal the rift. Having no other option they must go deep into the spirit world and evade the yokai that dwell there. The Yokai are no longer friendly and seek to stop Tomo and widen the rift. Can you help them get home?

We invite you to join us for Naka-Kon’s Lolita Fashion Tea Party! This event will be a formal opportunity for attendees to enjoy a delicious tea menu with our special guests and community members. Make your clothes last longer and fix pesky holes by learning traditional Japanese Boro embroidery! In this workshop, we’ll learn a little bit about the history of mending and repairing clothes in Japan, and will complete a basic patch using scraps of traditional Japanese fabric. Students will then learn basic hand sewing techniques and how to apply them to attach their patch to create a beautiful & functional repair that can be applied to damaged clothes of any kind. Each student will leave with a sample of repaired fabric that they can then take home and apply to worn clothing using the techniques learned in class.

This adults-only event is an opportunity to feast on delicious food, and win some amazing prizes!

Sew-a-long with the head pattern maker of CUT/SEW in this workshop inspired by traditional Japanese furoshiki knotting! Together we’ll be making a “knot bag”, or a simple tote bag with an easy knot closure, perfect for small items like cell phones, cosmetics, or trinkets picked up at the con.

Brand new to sewing? Start here! This two-hour hands-on workshop features guidance from the team at CUT/SEW on how to get started on your very first sewing project.

We’ve all been there, and now is your chance to have one of the EGL Community’s veterans help you pick out the perfect coordinate! Fashion Model Misako Aoki will be available for a limited number of personal shopping experiences to help attendees shop the new collections from Emily Temple cute and MeLody BasKet.
