Did you know that Nintendo started out making Japanese playing cards? Hanafuda, or "Flower Cards," were developed in the 1800s and are still played with by Japanese children today. Returning for its second year, this panel will teach you how these beautiful cards are arranged, their sordid history and association with the Yakuza, and most importantly how to play with them! You'll leave knowing the basic mechanics for the game "Koi Koi," featured in Summer Wars! Join us afterward in the game room to practice your newly acquired skills!
