New Japan had an interesting 2020. As with many industries across the world New Japan was heavily affected by COVID and shut down all shows for almost 4 months. When New Japan came back they came back red hot with the New Japan Cup which saw a shocking turn by the winner. New Japan has been clicking on all cylinders this year, although some of their decisions regarding booking have been questionable. Still they put out a consistently good product that rated among some of the best wrestling in the world
