Naka-Kon was proud to host our first-ever virtual Cosplay Contest in April 2020. While the Twitch stream was not able to be recovered, the creativity and talent displayed by all contestants are highlighted here in our virtual gallery! Contestants dazzled us with their craftsmanship, performances and runway walks, and were judged by a panel of Naka-Kon staff. This gallery showcases all of our talented entrants and winners!
Contestants won a variety of prizes including trophies that were generously provided by Hammerspace Community Workshop & Makerspace in KCMO, and shiny certificates. All contestants may use their acceptance emails to receive additional goodies from 3DHQ Kansas City. Best in Show was also awarded a $100 gift certificate sponsored by Trove Costumes to Aurora Clothiers by Allengale for a pair of custom embellished shoes.
