Philip Odango of Canvas Cosplay is an award-winning cosplayer and designer who has crafted costumes for celebrities such as Mindy Kaling and Danny Trejo, and whose videos have amassed millions of streams on YouTube. Philip began cosplaying in 2005 and has since been an invited guest, presenter and cosplay contest judge all over the world.
Philip is a frequent collaborator for partnerships, television and branded projects. As an educator with 20 years of professional experience in marketing and communications, Philip shares valuable insights through classes, workshops and panels with conventions, universities and makerspaces worldwide. He launched his Cosplay Professional Development Series of books and workshops to empower cosplayers worldwide to strengthen their confidence and professional development.
