Luna Flare is Kansas City’s favorite "Queen of Cosplay," and has used her talents to entertain local audiences for more than a decade. As a cosplayer, she has won group and solo awards creating costumes that pay tribute to her favorite media and has participated as a subject and producer in the Cosplay documentary film "What We Can Be" ( @whatwecanbe) directed by Nick Young. She has been a member of the cosplay group Another Castle Creations ( @anothercastlecreations) since 2017. The group uses their cosplay skills to educate up and coming cosplayers and for volunteer services around the area. Her favorite part about being a drag queen is bringing joy to people whether she meets them after a performance, on a con floor, or through her work with organizations such as Children's Mercy and The Make-A-Wish Foundation.
